We can provide preventative or emergency gritting to help you keep the roads and pathways clear of snow and ice which can be perilous and pose a health and safety risk. With no expensive contract to sign, you can simply let us know once you’ve seen the weather forecast and we’ll be ready to put the safety measures in place and provide a first class service.
Grass Maintenance
Using state of the art grass cutting systems, our teams have over thirty years of experience in lawn cutting and grass maintenance so you are sure of a high level of service and a beautiful looking lawn all year round. We will visit your site and choose the correct machinery for the work – from large scale tractors for open fields and sports pitches or school playing grounds to smaller mowers which we use for more formal work and in smaller spaces to enable us to cut around trees, benches and planted borders. We will also use strimmers, blowers and hedge cutters as required and are proud to be reducing noise and environmental pollution with our new range of battery powered equipment which means we don’t use petrol for this work which remove the risk of fire too.
Weed Control Services
Our teams are fully licensed to use traditional methods for weed control using strong herbicides if required. However, with the growing public concern over the use of glyphosate for the systemic control of weeds, moss and invasive plants, we also offer the Foamstream system for weed control which is an effective, eco-friendly alternative. Safe to use around people and animals, Foamstream is especially recommended for use in public areas where it poses no threat to the environment with results being visible immediately. We have already used this method for some of our customers in local authorities with excellent results and are able to come to your site to give a demonstration on its use and effectiveness if required.
Hard & Soft Landscaping Services
For our current clients, we offer high quality hard and soft landscaping services. These can be both as part of our scheduled contractual services and also as a short notice response to any emergencies if required. Our horticulture expert will attend your site to meet you and discuss the project at length in order to ensure that we understand your vision correctly so that we can plan to give you the best possible results. We cover all aspects from hard landscaping jobs including fencing, paving and brick laying to soft landscaping tasks such as tree and shrub planting, formal border design and native species planting.
Hedge, Shrub and Border Maintenance
From large scale hedging to formal garden shrubbery, our skilled teams undertake all garden and open space hedge cutting. For parkland, sports fields and roadside hedging, we use state of the art tractors fitted with arm mowers which work quickly and effectively with minimum disruption. Double-sided hedge pruners and smaller battery-operated pruners are used for formal hedging and intricate topiary to give a more defined finish. As always, all of our staff are fully trained and certified for working at height with full risk assessments always carried out prior to the commencement of any work.
Green Waste Management
Ever aware of our impact on the environment, we are proud of our green credentials and are therefore very pleased to be able to offer an on-site green waste management service. With our tractor and crane operated king-feeder, we are able to shred all green waste which has been produced from horticultural maintenance. This would include prunings, cuttings, leaves and any tree surgery green waste. Once shredded, the recycled waste can then be composted and used on the soil again as a mulch or soil conditioner.
Grounds Maintenance and Horticultural Information
The very nature of our work means that we largely work seasonally with certain tasks are carried out regularly with the seasonal changes. With the winter months mostly being about leaf clearing and preparing the ground for the spring, we also plant trees during November to March as this is a fairly dormant season which gives newly planted trees plenty of time to become established. Summer is mostly taken up with grass cutting and border planting to create those splashes of colour that we all love. As with all of our work, our teams are fully certified for their positions and have enhanced DBS checks. We take pride in our fleet of vehicles and plant machinery and ensure that every piece of equipment is routinely serviced and maintained.
Cleaning and Bulk Waste Management
We offer professional on-site cleaning and bulk waste recycling and removal service in areas such as housing estates, car parks, hospitals and schools. We are an upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer and can therefore handle large scale refuse removal as a one off or on a regular basis to suit your needs. We understand the impact that landfill has on the environment so we ensure that items are recycled where possible. Recycling is standard with all horticultural waste from maintenance work such as pruning, grass cutting or hedge trimming and we meet all relevant industry standards including ISO accreditations with the British Assessment Bureau.
To ensure site safety, our commercial window cleaning is carried out using an advanced Water Fed Pole System where there is no need for a ladder. Our team works from the ground using pure water via a pole which absorbs all of the dirt and leaves a sparkling finish. We can provide a commercial jet washing service for any large areas that require thorough pressure washing. We also specialise in the removal of unwanted graffiti and sanitising bin chutes and chambers.

Before commencing any work, we carry out thorough risk assessments and will provide you with risk assessment method statements (RAMS) and full site-specific risk assessments (SSRAs) as required. A staff training matrix will also be supplied along with the appropriate insurance documentation and 24-hour contact telephone numbers for our site managers in case of emergency.
